The frequency with which the document in cache is compared with the
document on the network is determined by your setting in
Edit/Prefs/Advanced/Cache.

Browsing using "Back" or "Go" command

When I am trying to browse back (or go directly to the page I visited
before) Netscape
instead fetching it from cache, loads this page as it was my first try.
This causes some significant delays. Is there some setup, I missed, to
prevent this?
I am using Netscape ver.4.06 but this same problems I had with all
previous versions.

Thanks,

Jack
