LPD printing in Win95? (MicroSoft TCP/IP Printing)

Post by Nikolaj Kolt » Thu, 22 May 1997 04:00:00

Is the a way to print to a lpd deamon from Windos 95 - I NT one can set
up a Microsoft TCP/IP printing Service from the Network icon on the
control panel and redirect a printericon to an internet adress.  Where
can I find the same service using Windows 95

Hope someone has some hints

1. Remote Printing from UNIX. TCP printing/lpd

I am looking to find TCP printing services so that we can  print from a
unix server (solaris 6/8) to XP Pro/Home system.  I know that NT Server
4.0 has TCP print services. What is available to run on XP to support
this?
