Weird one here, dos batch not executing, no activity from dos prompt

Greeting,
I've created a batch file that I use to retrieve config files from my
routers via tftp.
Using Citrix Winframe 1.7 NT 3.51, the symtom is when I set this up it
works the first time ran, after I run it again the prompt goes to the
next line and blinks like its actually working.  If I depress any keys
the command prompt types, and the process never starts or finishes.
Is there a cleaner way to setup batch files under NT, is there any
variables that I am missing.  The actual batch file points to 20
routers, and like I said works the 1st time.

Any suggestions would be welcome, please email me directly at;

Also if anyone knows of any good books or whereabouts of docs that go
over advanced batch files for DOS or NT, (IF EXISTS, and GOTO's)

Thanks,

---batch job------

Rem "This command makes a backup of the existing config.scr files and
places"
Rem "them in the appropriate directory."

rem 'Deletes backup files
del e:\tftp\config\*.*

rem 'Copies current files to the backup directory'
xcopy config.* e:\tftp\config\

rem 'deletes current config files.'
del *.scr

rem 'Start of tftp get program'
rem 'Corporate Office'
tftp 137.xxx.xxx.xxx get config.scr
copy config.scr config.scr

rem 'Sends copy of output to Admin for review'

report.txt

----end batch --------

Another Note,
When I go into the directory to delete the file report.txt, which is the
file created when the
batch file is initialized, I get the error message;

'The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another
process'

How would I go about killing this process, or better yet make it so this
doesn't happen
again via the batch job.

Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,

1. executing a multi-line batch file in the DOS box of Win2000

I'm trying to automate a series of calculational/display tasks, which
are mostly run in the DOS window under Win2K.  The only unsolved
problem I have is that I cannot figure out how to have a Win program
MIX.exe, which is an X Windows server for Win2K, pickup the output

where show.bat is itself a batch file shown below:

and 'test' is the input data file.

Now, when the previous programs in the batch file run their course and
I see the 'Start MIX/3 now' displayed in the window, I have to
manually start MIX from the desktop to manipulate the output of
molden.exe--but I'd like it to be started from the batch file.

When I tried to put the line

show test...

I'm at a loss; thanks for any suggestions.
