I can check the DVD tomorrow, but if possible, could you tell me the
file name, which I should check?
(Of course, I checked the files on the root directory, as to find
Product Key, but couldn't find...)
Thanks,
Kenji

Did you find out how to get the product key? I have the same issue.
Downloaded the Windows CE .NET 4.2 Evaluation Kit from MSDN, but there
is no product key there.
Following another suggestion on this thread I believe I've fully RTFM
but I don't see any email address to request this key from.
TIA
I gave up getting only product key, and I ordered beta CD
on the web.
It costed almost $10 including shipping and handling cost,
but that's OK for me.
Then I finally got the e-mail, with product key.
So, still one big mystery.
Why did MS distribute that CD in SF, if we have to order
CD for product key.............?

You can visit www.microsoft.com/windows/embedded/evalreg/
and you will be directed to our registration site. Once
you complete the registration form, you will receive an
email in about 15 minutes with your product key for
Windows CE .NET and Embedded Visual C++ 4.0.
If you place an order online, your product key will be
sent to you in your order confirmation - which will be
emailed to the address you provide. There is no need to
register as well when you order online.

Well I managed to get the URL of the form for the windows ce.net 4.2
evaluation kit, it's:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/embedded/evalreg/
After trawling through lots of postings on these newsgroups I spotted
one of the Microsoft people who works with ce.net 4.2, worked out
their real email address, and sent them my enquiry.
They came back quite quickly, which is nice...
Feels good to be able to furnish a thread with the answer to the
original question as well.

1. MSDN product key for CE 4.2 platform builder?
So I've downloaded all 6 CDs for CE 4.2 platform builder
eval version, go to install and realize there is no
install key for it. It's not part of MSDN "my product
keys", and the eVC++ 4.0 product key (which is) doesn't
work.
Anyone know how to obtain the proper key for install?
