Very Computer

1) The ICONs in the favorites and some pull down menu's
turn to a standard unidentified file icon.  I can go in
indiviudally and change each one, but is there and easier
way?

2) Also the Address Bar never shows the orginal site icon
before the http:

3) When I reboot my computer, the home page switches back
to a page that I do not want as my home page.  I have
changed it in the Internet Options to the home page I
want and apply it, but the next time I start my computer
it goes to IE6, the other website I do not want comes up
instead?

Any recommendation would be appreciated

What is the name of the page that insists on being your home page? Is it
Lop.com?  The icons in your favorites dropdown menu will change to IE icon
after emptying your Temporary internet files.
