Those manufacturers would not develop new drivers for
their older models to suit XP requirements. They thought
people would buy new devices if they want to go to XP. It
is a business strategic.

1. Can I change default scanner dpi in scanner wizard?
In the scanner wizard it always assumes I want to scan in 150dpi. So
I have to go to the custom settings and change it to 300dpi for every
scan I want to do. I know its not THAT big of a pain, but is there a
way to get it to assume I want 300dpi from the getgo? Thanks!
