hi all
my name is wolfgang and i just got win xp prof.

how r u all??

so  here it comes now.

my www page is located on a ftp server with Dreamweaver i have no problem to
connect to this ftp server because there is a port option  and i set it to
2121 (NOT 21)

If i try to setup a network place, it doesn't ask for Port settings and so
it doesn't work.

Can someone help me with that????  ...and  please excuse my English
writing...i am still working on it....originally i am from Germany :)

Thanks in advance

Here's something to try.

I believe it will work, but can't easily test it.

When asked for the url, do it like this:

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com:2121

1. HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!

I am running a 3.51 NT server which runs a domain on a LAN. Before it was
running as a domain server, it was working as a workgroup server and I got the
FTP server to work perfectly well. I later changed to a domain server, and I
just can't get the ftp server to work, even after re-installing the ftp
service. The users can connect to the server, but when after trying to login
via anonymous login,  the message : user "e-mail address" cannot login to the
server.

This also happens to valid users on the server. What could I be doing wrong,
could somebody kindly help me???
