How can I download the new anti virus for the microsoft
windows XP. I heard that the company forgot to put in the
program.

You need to speak to whatever people make the antivirus software you prefer
to use. Microsoft haven't had antivirus software as part of the operating
system for a very long time now.

What version of antivirus software have you been using prior to XP?

You heard incorrectly, use a 3rd party AV.
