by I have a pair of Intel P4 systems each with 1GB of memory running XP Pro
SP1. There are two paging files on each system with a total of 1.5Gb of
disk space. Both systems have the problem that they won't reliably enter
hibernation either manually or when Power Management attempts to do so. The
error message from an icon in the system trya is "Insufficient system
resources exist to complete the API", but what resources need attending to
and how? They will hibernate soon after booting, but the longer the system
is running the more unlikely they will do this successfully.
