xp on dual partitions

I currently run a home/office pc...one that I use for both work and
home purposes.  I currently run with a dual boot set-up......two
separate hardrives, with win98 on one and win2000 on the other.

I do this to help keep the kids 'and me' lol...from screwing up any
work files - and use a scanner that win2000 hates.  I have always
thought that this method offers more security for me.

If I get xp can I put it on each hardrive and run it 'twice' as a dual
boot?

Is there any 'security' advantage with this method?  Or will letting
the kids log in as 'users' offer as much?

If I can do this will I have to 'notify' microsoft or will the one
activation code work on both hardrives since the hardware is the same?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Install Windows Xp on only one of the harddrives/partitions as you can
select what type of users your kids are. There is a lot of tools for
controlling what your kids can run, surf, view and so on.

PS: Your kids can't view you documents, nor change any hardware or OS
related configurations.

So stick to one install of Windows Xp, hopefully a clean one (to prevent
crashes and instability)
