Windows XP Pro BSOD/DUMP ("INVALID_PROCESS_DETACH_ATTEMPT")

I have a Pentium III 1000 PC (IBM NetVista A40) with 256
meg RAM running Windows XP Pro.
We have a novell 5.1 network and Office 2000 installed on
the PC's.
We also have Norton Anti-Virus Corporate edition v7.61
installed.
I and fellow employees using the same
programs have been experiencing Windows XP crashes/BSOD
while using Excel 2000
and Word 2000. It does not happen all the time. In Excel
it usually happens
when saving a file and does the same in Word 2000.
It happens when trying to manually "Save" or "Save As" on
a Netware Volume (Mapped Drive).
When the PC Crashes/Dump while using
Excel/Word, I received the following
error "INVALID_PROCESS_DETACH_ATTEMPT"
in the BSOD/Dump.
Any Assistance would be appreciated.
