I posted the same problem about a week ago. According to
an MCSE I know, there's a problem with the BIOS that
controls the CD writer, which is why the Wizard won't
recognize a CD in the drive. I'm going to try to flash
the BIOS - I'll let you know if it works.

1. WMP9 doesn't recognize my CDRW drive when copying to CD
In the 'Copy to CD' screen, no devices are listed in the right hand panel. I
thought that checking the 'Enable CD recording on this drive' box under my
drive's (Yamaha CRW 2200E) properties might help, but still nothing. WMP 9
recognizes this drive in Options/Devices and plays CDs from it, but I can't
figure how to record to it. Thanks.
