Problem: The Pyrogate Harddisk, attached to my ALI USB 2.0 PCI Host
Controller is not recognized correctly on my Abit KT7, Windows XP Home with
SP1 System. Errors like "Unknown Device was not recognized..." or "Windows
encountered an Error with this new Hardware..." keep eating my time and
ofcourse the drive doesn's show up.
Facts:
-I have flashed the BIOS with the newest Version (A9), the USB Drivers are
all 5.1.2600.0 or even higher.
-I installed the "patch to resolve the following issue "USB Devices May Not
Work After You Unplug a Downstream USB Hub from the Host Controller"
-There are no additional drivers to install for the ALI Controller or the
Pyrotec Drive
- Other USB 1.1 Devices work fine when attached to the ALI Card
- The Pyrogate Drive works fine when attached to the USB 1.1 On Board
Controller
