1. DivX 5 + VBR + DivX Player problems
I got some movies coded with DivX 5 + VBR (according to the filename).
When I open them with the DivX Player which comes with DivX 5.02 I can play the movies
but only from the very first beginning.
Dragging the slider to start from a position inside the movie results ALWAYS in a crash of
the player (under Win2000+Sp2). Is this a bug/normal ? BTW: I even found no other player which
is able to let me go to a position inside a movie.
I assume it's because it is coded with VBR. But the original DivX 5.0(2) codec
doesn't support VBR (Variable Bitrate). So which codec was used to encode it ?
