Any ideas on the following problem?
After having a logon problem in my original Win XP installation I did a
clean install on my E disk. The second Win XP installation on my E disk
functions well. At startup I am offered the option of this installation, or
the old one which still resides on my C disk. If I select the old
installation, Win XP starts, still with the original logon problem, but I
can log on as administrator. For several reasons I would like to go back to
my old Win ME system on the C disk while leaving Win XP on the E disk. The
Win XP on the C disk does not show an "Uninstall Win XP" option although
there is a C:\undo folder with three files in it, backup.$$$ (1KB),
backup.cab (379,934 KB), and boot.cab (4762 KB). Is there any way to
uninstall Win XP and restore the previous Win ME? If not, is there a way to
remove Win XP without formating the disk, so that I can reinstall Win ME
without losing the other content on the disk?
Thanks,
