We want to use Outlook as our e-mail client with
Groupwise 5.5 server.
I've asked for help on the Novell newsgroup they don't
even know.

we can't send or get e-mail using our outlook express
client.
how can i make this work.

hopefully groupwise will go away in Sept
moving to Exchange 2000

According to some research I once did to answer the opposite question
for an IE5 user you might need to use a  BHO  to use GroupWise.
If you have been battling malware and following the advice of some
posters you may have disabled that facility.   E.g. make sure that

    Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)

is checked  (in IE Options, Advanced tab)

Have you tried searching on the  Novell Support site?
