Overview
Download this package if you use Fast User Switching on Windows XP Media
Center Edition. This will correct the problem where your Media Center PC may
stop responding when you switch between users while watching live TV. For
more information about this issue, read Microsoft Knowledge Base Article

1. Windows XP ATI Drivers & DirectShow Q810243 Windows Media Center Edition update

There are two items one: I loaded a file with windows
update. (a once it's on it's on file) But after a restore
more current than the sucessful installation it still
shows I need it updated, but it never is sucessful since
it's already on the machine.

This is a fully released and supported display driver for
Windows XP. DirectX 8.1 and OpenGL support are included.

The Microsoft-Supplied Driver 5.1.2001.0 Included on the
Windows XP Installation CD or the newer 6.13.10.5118 on
the windows update website will not work. It even says:
The RAGE 128 PRO driver included with Windows XP does NOT
support OpenGL, and the new driver on the update site
does NOT work.
