with Media player 6.4, you can download several movies /
clips at the same time because 6.4 just opens chosen clip
in another window,

In 7.1, it opens using same player and will not allow you
to open several clips at one time??. Is there a setting
that you change in order to use 7.1 amd download multiple
clips at the same time?

In short, no.  If you are going to download multiple
media files at the same time, you might want to try the
following.

It is usually advisabe to download whatever media you
want to view _before_ playing it.  To do this, right
click on the hyperlink to the file you want to download,
and select 'Save Target as'  then type in or browse to
the directory where you want to save the file.  If you do
not want the clip to stay on your hard drive, save it to
a temporary folder.  When the download has finished, you
will be prompted to open/view the file.

To manage multiple downloads and speed downloads
slightly, you may want to consider buying a download
manager.
