My display shows (vertical) lines in stead of a clear (text)display I gues
it is a bad connection (in a flatcable??).

Has anyone any suggestions

Yes it's the flatcable, because by opening many times there is a change that
the flatcable isn't that solide anymore and will show sign of fracture or
the flatcable breaks lose from the mainbord (little bit is enought for
showing the vertical lines on the screen. So there is no new screen
requierd.
