Iomega Click PC Card memory and Series 7

Iomega Click PC Card memory and Series 7

Post by Peter Gra » Wed, 16 Aug 2000 04:00:00

Sorry if this has been asked before but can the Iomega PC Card Click
Card and discs be used directly with the Psion Series 7 PC card memory
expansion slot ?

I've only just spotted this wonderful gadget in the shops and was
hoping that it would offer a very cheap memory option. Will I need
special software for it to work and if so where can I get it ?

All advice gratefully received.

Thanks

Peter

Not at the moment. Unlike The Microdrive you need a driver to use
the Click which hasn't been written for EPOC yet.

Thanks for the advice earlier. I was sorry to hear that the Iomega
Click PC Card needs software to run on the Series 7. Does anyone know
if anyone is writing a suitable EPOC program ? Or should I give up on
the whole idea and stick to CF ?

Thanks

Peter
