It's going to be quite awhile before there's a full shrink wrapped
version of Object Desktop NT.
What we're going to do is follow a path similar to what we're currently
planning to do with Power Series for Object Desktop (OS/2) which is:
As components get completed, they will become available on our commerce
server as well as available in an Object Desktop subscription.
By the end of the summer, we hope to have the Control Center, Tab
LaunchPad, Text View, Active Java (boy with Microsoft hate that feature)
and Object Zip completed.
Because the needs of OS/2 usres and Win32 users are different, there
will be differences between the two (for example, there won't be a
HyperDrives for the NT version or an Object Navigator).
But eventually when there is a shrink wrapped version they'll probably
be initially seperate and then eventually both in a single box.
