1. Apple stock may take a big hit July 9,1996 According to CNN
I have a small network consisting of an NT 3.51 Server and 4 x Windows
95 workstations. It is fairly common to need to reboot the
workstations a few times per week as they are all prone to random
lockups. I suspected that the hardware may be at fault, but we have
installed Windows NT 3.51 on one of them and it has never had a
problem other than being even slower.
My conclusion is that Windows 95 is quite fragile and I simply do not
trust it for mission-critical applications. All credit to MS though,
for successfully marketing such a poor quality product.
BTW, we are using MS Office Pro 7.0 and they are all Pentium 100s with
16Mb RAM.
