Moreover, Trident now supplies a utility which will patch the OS/2 base
video handler to enable custom and ergonomic refresh rates for all video
modes.  The utility is run from the DOS box and is called OS2CRTC.  It
requires Trident's VGACRTC utility.  (Be sure to get the most recent
versions of both utilities.)

And Trident now has Sierra RAMDAC 32,768 color support for OS/2.
(At least I saw a note on the Trident BBS to this effect -- I haven't
tested this driver.)

Trident says it will "definitely" support OS/2 2.0.  (Existing drivers
may already work, in fact.)

Could you (or anyone else) please make these Trident drivers available
for FTP somewhere (like novell.com, for example)? Thanks.

Trident PM 256 Color Drivers

The most recent Trident PM 256 color drivers (OS/2 BVH drivers) support
TVGA 8800 also.  Limited HiColor support (Sierra DAC) include save/restore
DOS box HiColor Image, set HiColor mode etc.  And they work fine with both
1.3 and 2.0 beta.
Some other Super VGA also provide 640x480 256 colorPM driver. But I have
not seen any other 1024x768 256 color driver yet.
