Good comm prog. with good VT100 emulation?

As the subject suggests, I'm looking for a good communications program that
has good VT100 emulation.

Suggestions?

TIA,

Les

Good comm prog. with good VT100 emulation?

Logicom 2.30c is a very nice comm. program.  Its VT100 emulation is the best
I have seen for OS/2 - much better than TE/2.  It only has VT100 and ANSI
emulation, so if you need variety don't get it.  Unfortunately it does not
support ZModem, but its YModem throughput is good.  It may support third
party ZModem, but I am not sure.  I am pretty sure you can get it off cdrom.com
or hobbes.nmsu.edu in the comm directory of the all versions of OS/2 section.
Hope this helps.  If you find or hear of anything better, please email me or
post it.

I use ckermit.  I haven't noticed any problems with it, but I don't do
much other than read mail and news.

Persoft, Inc makes very nice DEC (and others including Tek and DG)
terminal emulators for DOS and Windows.  They are now thinking about
making OS/2 versions.  Their low end product for DEC Emulation is
SmartMove.  While the high end is SmarTerm 340 (emulates the VT340
graphics and VT420 Text terminals and everything below it).  Please call
1/800/EMULATE and advocate to them for OS/2.  (say: I know you have no
OS/2 software out yet, but I have heard that you are thinking about it
and if you did I'd be interested in 'n' copies of an OS/2 [VT100, Tek,
VT340 or whatever] emulator)  thanx!

1. Good shareware comm prog?

: This is my first post--hope it works.  Does anyone know of a good comm/terminal
: program (hopefully PM Based) that I can get off the net?  I've tried Zoc 1.33
: and had lots of minor problems (gets on my nerves).  I know you can't ask a
: whole lot from a shareware program.  I am currently running Os/2 2.1 with
   : a Zoom 14400 internal faxmodem.
   :
: (I'm am in no way flaming Zoc and it's programmer, I know lots of people who
   : love it)

What kind of problems?  I know the author is very responsive to problems...
