I have 2 single processor 160 Mhz 64bit PA-8000 system boards that I
took out of two d270 boxes when I upgraded them to dual processor
boards.  I'm looking to sell them.

160 Mhz 64bit PA-8000 System boards   $2000.00 each, obo.

or both both of them for $3600.00 ($1800 each).  I will also consider
trades to Sun Ultra systems.

e-mail me directly if you are interested.

Thanks,
Thomas

Just to clarify...  If they are 160Mhz, wouldn't they have
come out of a d250 box?  I thought the 70 processor was
200Mhz...

1. PA-8000 vs. 9000 series benchmarks?

Okay, I looked at the PA-8000 press release at

    http://www.hp.com:80/csopress/96apr4.html

and found the product specs for 9000/712 machines at

  http://www.hp.com:80/wsg/products/712ds.html

But the 712 benchmarks are SPECint92 and SPECfp92,
and the 8000 benchmarks are SPECint95 and SPECintfp95.
So how do they compare?  Are the 712 benchmarks going
to be redone for SPECint95?  If we move to PA-8000 for
some of our high-end stuff we'll want to know what kind
of improvement to expect.
