Q: Whice one to keep, 735 vs 715/50?

Post by Hinnerk Hagena » Wed, 23 Aug 2000 04:00:00

Hello

We will be parting from some of our older systems very soon (no, I am
not trying to sell them here). My question is, which one you would
recommend to keep and which one to sell (or rather give back to HP in
the frame of some upgrade programs).

We will be getting rid of a 720 and a 730.

Should we keep a 735/99 (e.g. as webserver?) or a 715/50 for the same
purpose? When useing a small mySQL-application and some e-perl on the
715 being our webserver right now I recognized that it does get very
slow. Will the 735 be more satisfying?

Any hints and opinions are very welcom

Hinnerk
