HPUX 10 , 300/400 series , X-Terminals

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the 300/400 series were not
supported under HPUX 10 and because of this HP were going to supply
"software" to make 300/400 machines into X-Terminals instead.

Does this ring bells with anyone else?

If the above is correct can someone tell me where I can get this "software".

PS when is HPUX 10 shipping?

Thanks in advance ...

The "New Features and Functions of HP-UX 10.0" training course notes seem
to confirm this. The notes just say a tool is provided which allows
series 300/400 workstations to be uses as X terminals. It gives no other
information.

We received the New Business release of HP-UX 10.0 some weeks back. So
far we have only installed it on one machine, and played a little with it.
I think the General release (allows upgrading from 9.X to 10.0) is not
due out until July.

True.  300/400 do not have a 10.0x release.  The current release is
9.1 (not to be confused with 9.01).  There is an X/terminal program
  included in 9.1.

: If the above is correct can someone tell me where I can get this "software".

Call your local HP office and ask for a copy of 9.1.

10.0 has been shipping for a couple of months.  However, you must request
this release as it is shipped only on request.  10.01 or the General
Business Release will be sent automatically to all support contract
  customers.

You need the XTERM300 product. Details about that can be found in the
manual Updating to HP-UX 9.10 (Series 300/400).

Where can I get more info on 9.1 ? Is it just the patch upgrades for 9.0x,
or is there anything else?
I had a look through mayfield, but found nothing.

Any pointers appreciated

I believe it is shipped automatically to support customers.  You can call
your local HP representative to get a copy.
