Oracle and Pro/E, Pro/Intralink

Post by Steve Leatherma » Mon, 24 Nov 1997 04:00:00

If anyone has had experiences running Pro/Intralink on
Oracle, I'd like to have an off-list discussion with them
concerning performance, stability, etc.

1. ORACLE PRO C and PRO Ada

I'm having a problem which is probably not caused by Oracle
but I could use some help.

We have libraries for data retrieval that were done in C on Solaris.
These work fine.
We are trying to integrate these with an application that uses Ada.
Everything compiles fine but as soon as we try to connect to Oracle we get
a core
dump.
Obviously this is some type of misalignement on the data structure between
Ada and
C.
How do I fix it. I try using pragmas on both ends for Byte and Word
alignement and
I still have the problem.
