Tax Lots

Tax Lots

Does anyone know if Microsoft plans to include tax lots in the future?
Any respectable investment program should include tax lots as part of
the standard features.

Hi Jim,

This is a good suggestion.  Please be sure to post this request to MSWish
for consideration in a future release.  Thanks!

1. Cost basis for individual tax lots

Is there a way to generate a report in MS Money 2002 (or any other later
version) that lists the cost basis vs. the current value for each individual
lot of an investment in order to identify potential capital gains or losses
per lot?

Example:
Date           Stock   Qty        Historic                   Current
Gain/loss
                                             price  value           price
value

13.11.1995   Intel     20     8,47      169,40       29,18      583,60
414,20
17.01.1996   Intel     20     6,27      125,40       29,18      583,60
458,20
22.08.1997   Intel     50   23,59   1.179,50       29,18   1.459,00
279,50

Thanks for any comments on that topic!
