Don't you just hate it when the documentation for a program is incomplete or
provides erroneous information?  In "Ballyhoo", an otherwise fun text adventure
in the "Lost Treasures" collection,

(possible spoiler follows)

you need a number (actually an AM radio station frequency) to solve one of
the puzzles (or so the hint book says).  Anyways, the hint book says "Look in
the documentation for the number".  Guess what is missing - that's right!  The
number is nowhere to be found in the doc!

Sigh - I guess I'll be getting that long distance feeling soon...

The local classical music station is WPDL, 1170 AM.
Taken from the docs of an old copy of Ballyhoo...

I've just received the latest version of LINKS (version 1.53)
It is a patch file which will convert version 1.5 to 1.53.
There are several improvement:
1. enchance for the speed (without drawing the landscape step by step
right now)
2. enchance the color palette to reduce fringe in HAM mode.
3. You can choose the grid's color from 16 different palette. (Also, no
more fringe in grid)
4. You can choose to switch shadow on or off.
5. Joystick supported.
6. rework on the wind pointer (more easy to look right now)
.
.
.
.
etc.
Altogether, it's worth upgraded from your old version.
