Need help with Hired Guns

I've just gotten back into playing Hired Guns and I'm stuck.  :^(
I'm working on the ammuntion depot. I've managed to kill everything I can
find and have been everywhere except behind the door to the exit which
requires a red cardkey. I've also been unable to go up on the lifts in the
large room with the moveable blocks. There are 4 lifts on one side of the
pit and 2 lifts on the other. Is it possible to go up any of them?
I've been down to the level where all the floating droids are behind the
forcefield and destroyed them all and explored that level including the
hidden room.
The place I'm stuck at is down in the main ammo dump. After killing all the
guards, I can't shut off any of the forcefields or to operate the lifts on
that level. There must be some way to shut off the forcefields since the
red cardkey needed for the exit is in among the ammo.
Anybody know what I've missed?

Any advice would be appreciated.

    You need to push all the blocks in that room into the pit to bridge
it. This will (eventually) allow you access to a room with some medical
supplies in it. (thats the room with the moveable blocks......)

   There is a 'banish wall' psi-amp in the area where the floating droids
are. Use it to get rid of the forcefields.

1. Desparately Need Help in Hired Guns!!!

        I have two questions about Hired Guns I was hoping
someone could answer.  First, (as someone I recall posted earlier),
I can't seem to load the banana pieces into the banana gun.
Is this an error of the game or just a mean trick by the
designers of the game?  Secondly, I'm desperately stuck at
the Desalination level <threat = 3> near the end.  It's a really
short level with only rats, but there's this chasm that
I can't pass over.  There's a moving elevator to one side and
tons of blocks in an adjacent room.  There aren't enough
blocks to make a bridge and blocks can't get up on the ledge.
At least I can't get them there.  Any help would be appreciated.
