You may need more fastram to use the Gfx card anyway.  This may or
may not be causing the problem you have at the moment though.  I do
know that *Gfx 3 uses around 2-3Mb of my fastram with my
4Mb CV-64/3D enabled.  Add this to your disk buffers for hard drives
and CD-Roms etc. and you may be running low on Fastram.

How much fastram do you have left using the Gfx Card on it's own?

Do's the 040 card copy the rom to fastram as well?

Just an idea.

1. PP&S Mercury 040 35Mhz with A3000 = problem

Hi,

seriuos problem. It's craching randomly if I have the caches on but are
stable (and slow) without the caches. Have tried set040, running a pure
WB3.1 installation but having the same problem. The A3000 have all the
latest chips. 68040.library = 37.3

Anybody with any idea what to do?

Nick
