Inferno demo on PF/Sleepwalker CD32

        Fellow Netters,

Many thanx to those who have alerted us to the Ocean
Inferno demo on the PF/SleepWalker disk!  Quite neat!
I have a  simplification of instructions on how to
get it to run.  This was determined by sheer trial and error,
so I don't know if it will work on another CD32... :)
All you need is the PF/SW disk, a keyboard that will
hook up to the CD32 (I used my A3000 keyboard + adaptor), a
mouse, and, of course, a CD32. ;)
Boot the machine with disk in but holding down left
and right mouse buttons.  From the boot menu, choose boot
with no startup-sequence.
When the cli window appears, type "demo ?".  Just demo
by itself seems to do nothing.
The only negative thing I have to say about the demo
is that it really doesn't give you any idea of what the game
is like.......or was it just me?
Also, I have a question about the "zool.bin" file
in the root directory.  When I execute it, the machine gurus.
Is there someway to get a zool "demo", or is this file just
a red herring?

        Enjoy,

        Ken Smith

The demo will work with no arguments if you boot off from another disk.
But your way is much simple

I would bet $1000 that is part of the level information for
sleepwalker.  To be more exact, the zoo level of sleepwalker....
:       Enjoy,

1. I got Sleepwalker CD32 to work also!

At the suggestion of someone here who said they managed to get past level 3
of Sleepwalker (the one that comes bundled with the CD32 in Canada) by
shutting off the machien after it crashes, it worked!

Here's exactly what I did.  I finished level 3, and as soon as I could
no longer move the dog around, I pressed and held the red button on the
controller (I don't know why I did this, I just felt like doing it :-).
The game went to the Sleepwaker, Please Wait loading screen, and did
absolutely nothing.  (Note, at this point, it would usually start playing
music off the CD again, but this time, it didn't do anything).  It
wasn't playing music, nor was it reading data of the CD.  After about 2 or
3 seconds, I released the red button, and still nothing happened.  So I then
turned the machine off and after the CD stopped spinning, I turned it on
again, loaded up Sleepwalker, and was able to go to the next level (it's
the construction zone).
