This is just what happens when there isn't much to talk about. When the
new systems start coming out and a few companies start writing programs
again Amiga folks will be to bizzy enjoying thier system to have much
time to worry about Bill, Apple, and IBM.
If Amiga GmBh kicks some *and gets companies to write more programs
for the Amiga (I'm not a business major) then this will bring it back to
life. An Amiga with out software is pretty lonely.
I plan on useing my next student loan check to get as much hardware and
software that I can get (till it hurts) to support my system and way of life.
This is about all that I can think of that will help the Amiga.

P.S. Did I mention my A1000 turns 10 yrs. old next month. Yea!

This used to be an interesting meeting once you know. It's a shame what
it has turned into. All this talk about PC vs. Mac, UNIX vs. Mac, Microsoft,
IBM bla bla bla is getting really annoying. Who is interested in reading
stuff like that, anybody???

Just ignore these subjects and start writing something about interesting
AMIGA topics.

Now this is the most intelligent post I've seen here in ages. Maybe I'll
start reading c.s.a.advocacy again... If there are two intelligent ppl,
then there might be an intelligent conversation...

An excellent point. It's no big surprise that, with so little going on
in the Amiga scene at the moment, the PC/Mac vultures are swooping in and
trying to convert as many people as they can to their way of thinking. I
used to be bothered by all the platform wars, but at least it keeps the
group active, until something more interesting to talk about comes up. So
are we in the third tri-mester of the Amigas rebirth or what? :)

1. Scary Amiga-PC-Quake-and anything else PC or Mac

---------------------------------------
This is progress?
This is scary?
Where will the Amiga be in a year?
What does the future hold?
What is the future of Amiga development?
---------------------------------------
All these questions are more important than ever due to recent events in
this technical world...I don't know the answers but have many opinions
and fears, I would like this news thread to be about any concerns or
hopes to try and get a clearer picture of the future...
