I remember the predictions that Petro's next Amiga licensed product
would be toilet paper.  I guess they were right.

1. SOLD : A3000 060 / Ariadne II / GVP Spectrum etc etc..

Would like to let everyone know that my Amiga A3000 setup sold thru ebay ...
even though I had it posted here for a week with no serious or practical
offers.

You wonder why we all resort to ebay now?  Someone actually thought that
$475 was a good offer for 060, SCSI-3-UW, Ariadne II, GVP Spectrum, 2 gig
HDD, 64 megs RAM, etc .. all housed in an A3000 ... and noone else even
bothered to offer.  Thats why we all have to resort to ebay now.

It made me a bit upset when I had to put it on ebay, knowing that the
alleged "Amiga community" didn't think my setup was worth anything.

We pay tons of money to upgrade our Amiga's, supporting shitty companies
like Phase 5, and then when we go to sell them, no one even bothers making a
decent offer.  Such is our "Amiga community" ...

I ended up getting almost $900 or thereabouts for the setup .. which is
still actually pretty low in my mind, but almost twice as much as the best
offer I got from this newsgroup.
