1. Zorro II cards in Zorro III slots?

Yes. The Zorro III slots automatically configure as Zorro II ones if You do
that. No risks involved.

There ARE some side effects however. Due to the way the A4000 slots work, Your
GVP SCSI adaptor will produce a transfer rate of about 800 kb/sec of Your 4000.
I know, because I have used one (and still use one, but not for long).
Furthermore the gvppatch program does _NOT_ solve ALL serial problems when heavy
SCSI activity occurs! The IO extender will most probably work without any
limitations.
