I tried a post on the TeX newsgroup, but nobody responded.
So, I'll try here.
I want to print*on a PaintJet. I can create a .dvi
and preview it. However, if the DVI program (dvi363.lha) is in a mode
other than 100dpi or I don't alter MakePKFont.rexx from
OneZeroZero to "previewer", I get 2602dpi from VirMF (proof mode?).
I can print 100dpi micro-letters on the PaintJet using something
like HP-lores (also 100dpi), but it's of little use..
Am I doing something wrong? I can't anything except 100dpi,
144dpi (large type for preview?), or 2602dpi from MetaFont.
If I do ever get VirMF to work, will the DVI program work on a PaintJet
or is there something else to use?
Or is there no way to print on a PaintJet?
