HS!!!!

642 lines?!?!  That's got to be a record - even for a Rue rant!!!

No I didn't d/l this post.  I can't imagine anyone intentionally doing
so.  Thank God AWeb has this feature (Netscape4.5 doesn't) to show you
just how many lines are in the post.  I usually skip all TR posts so
I have no idea - who is pissing Timmy off this time?  Whoever is doing
so should just read the TR faq and quit egging him on.  He will never
shut up, admit he is wrong, or debate in a logical fashion.  So please
just leave him alone.  Otherwise, I'm sure he will attempt to break
this new record.  I wonder if the ngs support 1000 lines?  We will
probably find out soon enough :/ ............joe

Sending it to PSI.net wouldn't help, as they only provide some of the

you have pointed out.
Earthlink is very tough lately on such actions, as they were a host for
a lot of spam earlier, they started being very strict, about such
actions, and TIm's irrational behavior certainly falls into a clear
violation of AUP and TOS that Earthlink lists on their web page.

When his original ISP Mindspring was contact by many people here,
including myself, they had objections to take an action against him
since they have that "free speech" *policy, but when the volume of
the complaints was sky rocketing, Mindspring stated looking more
seriously into the claims, they took the proper action against Tim when
I forwarded an irrational and completely vulgar post from him addressing
couple of the ladies that read and post here.

On the other hand you'll see Tim claiming that Mindspring still supports
him, and that they took that action because that they didn't want to
deal with the complains, ...etc.

The  message specifically said the following, in response to my
complain.

___________________

_________

That is part of his illusions and paranoia, the bottom line is, that he
is violating every single netiquette and AUP/TOS in the wold that any
half decent ISP follows, and they will take an action against him same
as last time, given that you forward the message with complete headers,
and talk to the right person, agreed he will still keep on changing ISP,
but that will continue to teach him a lesson, and where he lives, local
ISPs are less than other places, he will be on the black list of the
ISPs or will be forced to behave.

And of course you'll see yourself, me and everyone else who dared to
point out this irrational behavior of Tim, attacked by some of the
socalled free speech advocates here, while themselves are the people who
complain constantly about Tim.
Go figure.

He just posted a new one that was over 1000 lines.

Unfortunately some of our European friends have no choice. They
also have to pay by the minute to download his drivel. He has been
informed of this situation numerous times, but being the arrogant
and inconsiderate * that he is, he just keeps on doing it.

Well, if we European friends considered Rue's postings to constitute a
problem, then we European friends could set up a filter to either filter
articles by Rue or articles above a certain size. I guess you non-European
friends could do the same.

What is a lot more difficult is to filter the articles posted by immature
people who use foul language when responding to Rue's articles. Such
articles are in my opinion a lot more annoying than Rue's huge pathetic
posts.

Some can, some can't. Don't ASSume everyone has access to the same
resources regarding filtering, killfiles, etc.

Sorry, I didn't realize .dk was such a conservative country.

We aren't. As I said above - it is annoying. I certainly don't feel
offended by reading the foul language people post in response to Rue's
postings.

LOL

I'm sorry, but this is what I see in AWeb3.2 when I skip TR's posts.

Why the F??k would I d/l a 204 line post?  I used to years ago but I
already know what it's going to say for more than 200 lines.  Why not
just write a book for gosh sakes!  There's been enough TR chapters and
verses posted here to fill the library of Congress!

Apologies to the rest.  I'm not actually responding to his post since
I would not even bother to d/l 204 lines of his <ahem> POV.  And that's
being more polite than he is in a similar situation.  I hope AWeb3.3
gets a kill file.  But until then, I'll just keep skipping anything
with Timothy Rue listed - ESPECIALLY 204 freaking lines of it!...joe
