Have an A530, 4Meg of RAM on board, external 160Meg Miniscribe and 44M SyQuest
I have always had probs getting the GVP to read the new RDB when a new SyQuest
cart. is inserted....
I have in my user-startup the line "GVPScsiCtrl -r -m" so that it will
scan the SCSI bus every couple of seconds, but if I pop a cart out and a new
one it, it does not read the RDB and thus *REAL* potential R/W problems
could surface if I'm not too careful...
The GVP *IS* supposed to handle this type of prob...
Anyone else here have these probs?
I recently got the program SCSIMounter by Martin Blatter (V2.0) and this
DOES fix the prob.. but I havew to MANUALLY UNMOUNT and REMOUNT the new
Any help.. PLEASE EMAIL!
