second try: getting Evil's Doom to work

second try: getting Evil's Doom to work

Post by Daniel Bisi » Sat, 25 Oct 1997 04:00:00

Hi all,

unfortunately nobody answered my first email about how to get Evil's
Doom to work. Since the problem persists and even contacting the game
programmers didnt result in an answer, I send my desperate question
again:

Hi all,

I recently downloaded the EVil's Doom demo from the Amiga Nutta's Review
Homepage. I was really e*d about seeing a new Amiga RPG apear after
such a long starvation period since Dungeon Master 2.

Unfortutaly, I am not able to get this game demo running. I am having an
A4000, *storm MKI 60/50, *vision 64(4MB), Fastlane ZIII system,
running WB and Kickstart V3.1. I tried with and without CPU cache, I
tried booting without startup-sequence, I increased stack size, I played
all variants of the CPU060 command and so on but whatever I did, the
program immediatly crashed without the slightest warning (no Guru) after
starting. So, did somebody with a similar equipment get this program to
run? Is there a fix for the demo version? Does the full version cause
similar problems?

Thamks a lot.

1. getting Evil's Doom to work

Hi all,

I recently downloaded the EVil's Doom demo from the Amiga Nutta's Review
Homepage. I was really excited about seeing a new Amiga RPG apear after
such a long starvation period since Dungeon Master 2.

Unfortutaly, I am not able to get this game demo running. I am having an
A4000, Cyberstorm MKI 60/50, Cybervision 64(4MB), Fastlane ZIII system,
running WB and Kickstart V3.1.

Before killing myself out of despair, maybe someone could give me the
email address of olympia software!

Thamks a lot.
