UFO-Whorth buying?

I've heard so many negative remarks about UFO-enemy unknown. I guess I even
should not conscider buing it. Still i've played the PC version and I loved it.
I've got a standard 1200 with a harddrive. How slow can it be? Is the standard
version faster then the AGA-version or is the problems elsewhere. Does it run
well on a hard drive? Thankful for advice - no flames, please. Its just a game.

UFO is a superb game. I haven't played anything else since I bought it.
BUT... on a standard A1200 with no fast ram you have to boot from a mimimal boot disk, and
disable all hard disk partitions/dik drives that you are not using just to free enough memory for
it to run without crashing. Otherwise the game will crash regularly when you click on the 'end
turn' icon in the Battlescape sections. Even if you take the above measures, it still sometimes
crashes :(. If you have more than 2mb ram though, everything is fine.

James.
