Willy Beamish: command reference card?

Post by Hidehiko Ogat » Fri, 13 Apr 2001 19:01:30

I recently bought a used copy of this wonderful game.  It only has
Willy's cute notebook (along with whopping 12 disks), so I guess the
said item of some sort is missing.

Thanksfully the game looks intuitive enough; so far I've figured out:
LMB is for movement/inventory , RMB toggles between arrow/magnifying
glass ("look"), LMB click on the top of the screen brings up the game
control icons.  Am I missing anything important?

Nope, you've pretty much got it. If you happen to pick up anymore Dynamix
adventures (Rise of the Dragon, Heart of China, et al), they're pretty
much the same interface.

Thanks!  Kudos to Dynamix for such an easy interface 8).

Indeed I plan to... if WB is of any indication, I suppose they must be
some quality stuff too (of a bit more serious nature, correct?)

You should have seen thier simulated copper-listing on the 64. :-)

There are a couple of action sequences that have different controls from
the rest of the game. But it's pretty easy to work out.

Yeah... Rise of the Dragon even came w/ a warning sticker (gawd knows why,
there really wasn't anything that bad in it).

Interesting :).  What did they do on C64?  The first time I noticed
them I think was Arctic Fox on Ami.  (Perhaps some EA stuff?)
