? battery for Expansion Systems Baseboard ?

Post by Jim M. Pier » Fri, 09 Dec 1994 09:09:39

I bought a used Expansion Systems BaseBoard ramboard, and it doesn't
have a battery for the clock. The previous owner didn't remember what
battery was in it, he threw it away. The manual doesn't mention the
battery type either. Thanks for your help.

1. 14Mhz Hack (A500) + Expansion Systems BASEBOARD

Two questions here:

1) I know this is old, but any caveats about that 14mhz hack that was
floating around?  It involves flip-flopping a signal from the agnus
into a timing signal for the processor.

2) I just ordered Expansion Systems's BASEBOARD 4mb upgrade for my A500,
and was wondering if there are any stories about it floating around? Is
it hard to install, etc?  How compatible is 100% ( :-) )  Etc,etc.
