1.0?  Sure, 1.1.x has been around for a while, but a number of
people have never seen it, as 1.0.x is often what goes onto
CDs (at least for GNU/Linux, I don't know if other OS vendors
are bundling).

1.1?  In theory .even is stable, .odd is fresh . . .

Bummers: 1.2.0 has at least one bug, whereas 1.0.0
had *none at all*.

Huge wins: Lots and lots.  :)  Uh, lots of new features,
better memory usage, better speed... what you'd expect,
really.

1.2 is fast and very stable on my Linux box.

The problems I had with 1.xx are fixed, seems to work better with huge files
500MB+ etc.

Seems rock solid to me.
