Possible, but theres a group just for Painter,
corel.graphic_apps.painter
You,ll find all the groups on the corel site, although there not accessable
right now.
Iv,e got painter also, steep learning curve methinks, it should come with an
inbuilt HUMAN helper:)

The corel groups arent on my server(NTL) you ADD new server to your news
settings.So now i have ntlworld.news + cnews.corel.com Its not
difficult to set up, I did it:) Look at your help contents about adding
another news server.

It certainly should be, but I rarely see articles about it.
There is a somewhat defunct-named alt.fractal-design.painter newsgroup,
which is deceptively active, given that Fractal Design sold Painter to
Metacreations, who in turn sold it to Corel. ;-)

If you want more active newsgroups, try changing to newsserver
cnews.corel.ca

Already got on the fractal one, though the name threw me. Being new, I
just want to get all the sources I can.
As far as original Q, I use Agent and am hooked to Earthlink, I wrote
them, I guess that's what one should do. I have Corel 10 too, but I
don't have enough mind to study that many apps, as I use PSP every
day, with Painter, a little PS. 3D will have to wait, maybe for years.
