My wife is trying to use Placeable WMF and Illustrator files into PageMaker 6.0
and is having trouble. Can anyone provide any help? Does 6.0 support WMF or
AI? Any help would be greatful.

6.0 supports WMF just fine. AI files should be saved as EPS.

PageMaker supports WMF directly. All you have to do is install the
correspondant filter when you setup PageMaker.
1. PM 6.5 Help Please (Insert Object)
I am having a problem when inserting an object (i.e. - jpg) onto a page,
for some unknown reason when I attempt to do this I just get an icon
with a file name. I am unable to open the file onto the page. In the
past, when I have inserted an object, the actual picture opened onto the
page and it was just a matter of resizing it. I do not know why all of a
sudden i am just getting these icons. Can anyone assist me in resolving
this problem?
