However, it is quite complex to set up and you'd really need some help
from an experienced user of PageMaker or be prepared to do some
extensive reading and re-readiing of the manual and help files.
If you have not yet invested in the DTP package then take a look at
Corel venura Publisher with Corel Database Publisher. Tis provides an
easy toconfigure route for publishing databse information and the two
come bundled together with WordPerfect, PhotoPaint and a whole host of
other utilities, fonts,e tc for less thanthe cost of PageMaker alone.
If you already have extensive experience with Pagemaker then what you
want to do can be achieved bt it is nt easy. Again hunting down an
earli5r version of Ventura (4.2 is a good relase) that included
Database publhsr is a good move as earlier versions also suppored
PageMaker as an target output program.

There is no other layout application that can import graphics from a
database. Lots of applications can import text and numeric data, but
not graphics.
However, there is a database built especially for doing that. It is
called Galleymaster, and will work with either PageMaker or
QuarkXPress. Galleymaster can also handle text and numerical data, of
course.
The combination of PageMaker and Galleymaster can do what you need.
I have no interest in Galleymaster. I don't even own a copy of it. I
just know I have heard it mentioned in these newsgroups. In fact, I'm
not even positive I have the name right.

However, even in these cases, the task in question would not be an
insignificant undertaking.

We have actually made a solution to PageMake where you can build up a
pagemaker document based on a seperated text file.
Fast explained it works like this:
1. Make a export from your database.
2. Import the textfile in our program (called ASG)
3. Deside wich columns should be used in your PM document, by attaching a
uniq name to the column (ex. picture1)
4. Make a template in PM, where you on a sertain layer create textfields,
textframes, pictureframes etc. In the fields/frames you write the uniqe name
stated in the ASG program. Click on the Start script, and PM will use the
output from your database to create a complete document with data/pictures
from your database.
This could be used to make up a page with productinfo and a picture.
If you are interested please write back.
