Is there any possibility to specify the color belonging to different
linetypes using the postscript terminal with the color option?

Look in the manual or online help under  [help] plot with.
If you want to mix your own colors, you need to hack the terminal driver
(postscript in your case) and I don't know how to do it.

currently I'm using

        G N U P L O T
        Unix version 3.5 (pre 3.6)
        patchlevel beta 338
        last modified Thu Jul 24 00:12:49 BST 1997

Is there any possibility to specify the color belonging to different
