Urgent:Plotting a simple point

Post by Rajil Saraswa » Thu, 10 Jul 2003 04:31:14

I am plotting a function and want to plot an additional simple point on the
screen to identify a special point.
However it is screwing up my plot by changing the axis. Here is my file.
------------------------------------------------------------
set terminal postscript enhanced
set out "tst.ps"
set xr[0:*]
set yr[0:0.45]
set multiplot
#This is the special point
set key  9.0,0.14
plot '-' title ' ' with points pt 10
0.991 0.35528
end
#This is a function
set key  9.0,0.19
plot ((1/(x*pi))*acos(0.011/(pi*0.00774*x))) title 'Element' with lines lt 1
set nomultiplot
---------------------------------------

Once again: You don't need multiplot for this.

plot ... title 'Element' with lines lt 1,\
     '< echo 0.991 0.35528' title ' ' with points pt 10

Bye, Reiner.

And for Windows users?
I suppose (?)
plot ... title 'Element' with lines lt 1,\
'-' title ' ' with points pt 10
0.991 0.35528
