I have used the Maya plugin API to create a custom type of shape node.
I can manipulate the shape in the user interface using the OpenGL draw
functions in MPxSurfaceShapeUI. However I cannot find a way to display
the shape in the final rendered output.
Does anyone know if its possible to include a custom shape node in the
final render ? It seems pointless to support custom shapes in the UI
if you can't render them.
